ReplyDeleteI just discovered this blog and story through a friend of the family who has been following my own blog. My son Noah was shaken on April 20th. He spent 10 days in the PICU and 18 in the hospital total. I have been through so much of what you have been through - it's eerie to read - though I admit Noah was fortunate to be out of the PICU much sooner. I am heartbroken to hear your story. My husband and I will pray for you. Please, please don't hesitate to contact me. There is a special bond between the families who suffer through something like this. Your road will be long and this is only the beginning, but with prayers and love, little Emma will stride.

Dear Crew Family-
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't know your family personaly (I linked from a frien'd facebook page) Emma captured my heart from the first time I read her story and saw her beautiful pictures. I have a daughter the same age as Emma who also loves to dance to Elmo's Song and has a bit of a sneaky side to her... I can't imagine what you must be going through, I am so sorry.
When I read this update, I was thrilled... the road ahead may be long, but "your Emma" is on her way back to you... have faith!
I will continue to pray for all of you that you will have strength and healing and for the medical professionals who work with Emma each day that they have the wisdom to know what is
best.
Please keep the updates coming... I look forward to hearing about Emma's progress.
Thoughtfully-
Francine Baxter
